The LNS PTO enriches the learning environment at Laurel Nokomis School, encourages academic, social and personal excellence, development of its students, and fosters an atmosphere of cooperation and communication within the school community through a partnership among Laurel Nokomis School parents, students, teachers, staff and friends of the school.

What Our PTO Supports

The LNS PTO provides support for:

Family activities like Trunk-or-Treat, Daddy Daughter Dance, and Mother-Son Event
Holiday shop - a year-round project that is carefully curated by a team of volunteers
Fundraising - Fall fundraiser, Run-a-thon, Book fair, Spirit nights
Clothes Closet - providing clothing to kids in need
Teacher funding requests - class room materials, supplies, online subscription-based programs
Teacher/staff appreciation activities
Capital improvement projects
